Preventing Depression

Depression is a state of gloominess and hopelessness. It is a condition in which a person becomes melancholy. A depressed person takes every thing negatively. He feels helpless and disappointing. If someone professes of being depressed it means he has taken some thing very grave or a little worst has happened to him in his life. It is a natural feeling that we become sad and gloomy sometimes but we should avoid this habit. For instance if a student fails to achieve his target or if someone lost his business then he will start feeling himself less energetic and dull, from here the depression starts . Depression is a grave disease. It should be treated well. The symptoms of this unpleasant disease are less eating, feeling uncomfortable in talking,   

Have sensation of worry and anxiety all the time, sleeping very much and having thoughts of even suicide and much more as the symptoms of this disease are not limited and vary from person to person. The depressed patients are treated by some special doctors called Psychologist. Usually doctors hesitate to treat these patients by medicines because they prefer the psychological treatment. Most of the cases are those people who had been hurt emotionally. For the treatment of this disease a large number of therapies are being introduced these days which are very effective and successful. On of the most popular treatment is cognitive behavioral therapy. To prevent depression we should make such friends who switch on the best in you and who always upgrade the spirit and enthusiasm of life in you. Therefore we should always think positive and accept the realities of life with full courage, zeal and zest.
