Anger and Teenagers
Anger is a very serious and common emotional problem being faced by a lot of parents. The teenagers are seen to show an attitude which usually disturbs the parents to endure. Teenage is a time when a lot of changes are occurring, physically, emotionally and intellectually in an individuals mind. The parents find a drastic change in the behaviors of their kids, sometimes they react in a way which derives a disturbance in normal life. Some factors like teachers, family, friends and class fellows are the basic cause of an emotional upset in growing teenagers. Usually we are not aware of the inner facts governing their emotional setup and behavior outcomes. The change occurs sometimes abruptly and parents find difficult to handle the situation. The study shows that under certain age group anger outbursts normally due to built up of frustration within the individuals mind. At this instance it is very important to deal with the anger as it is due to assertiveness.
Sometimes parents are unaware of the psychological changes undergoing in their minds while misjudging their inner feelings they try to force them for certain behavior which they strongly recommend. The teenagers sometimes have no feelings of the mature advices and they completely deny the asked pattern to follow. At this stage the usage of alcohol increases the intensity and duration of anger outburst and such fellows react to their inner voice and hear no more advices.
The better adjustment is possible if parents try to understand their inner psychological changes and their needs which they are not able to express. The main test of parenthood lies in the understanding their kids inwardly and outwardly. The exchange of views in a friendly manner may transform their understandings to a productive and positive attitude. The atmosphere of harmony with proper care will keep them interest in sharing their views on daily basis. A regular watch on their inner and outer growth will maintain a logical assessment of behavior indeed. This will also help to promote the family unity in a way in which every body will express his or her thoughts freely.
