Solar Energy

Solar energy is renewable, a natural source energy, around for million of years sun is providing us. It is considered to be clean energy. Sun is the main source that delivers light and heat and makes living things to exist. The one day power delivered by sun can be sufficient for the entire energy needs of the world for one year. The energy from sun is considered as the renewable energy because it will exist as ling as the sun shines. This energy is known as the clean and natural because it does not produce harmful products just like pollutants or byproducts causing damage to environment.

Solar energy can be considered as the prime energy source used by mankind. In modern world, the usage of solar energy was started in early 1950s, but remains limited due to technological issues claiming it to be an ineffective and more expansive means of producing energy. By the time the fuel crisis begins to overshadow the normal life to industrial sectors and the significance of solar energy rises greatly. The introduction of certain technological methods proved it a possible solution of the energy crisis up to a great extent.

The future is bright for solar energy because a wide range of advanced technology is focused to produce workable designs to cater the needs of energy crises. At present solar energy is produced through solar cells also called photovoltaic cells. These cells are placed facing direct sunlight. The sun light directly affects the cell surface and a chemical reaction is started resulting to produce electric current. This current is then turns into electricity by joining a number of cells collectively. Solar energy is classified in two ways, passive and active solar energy.

This energy has some disadvantages also, because the initial cost including purchase and installation is expensive. The areas where sunlight is limited, the working remains poor.

Despite these facts this type of energy is gaining importance day by day.

Heya! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing several weeks of hard work due to no back up. Do you have any solutions to protect against hackers?
